I highly recommend making a reservation at Laser Wolf because trust me when I say you will not be disappointed. Once I started eating it, I couldn't put the spoon down. At first I was not sure how I was going to feel about it, but I couldn't stop eating it! I wish I could have it every night, that's how amazing it is. Trust me it is absolutely incredible! The best dessert I have ever had at a restaurant. The steak was also amazing and cooked to perfection. The meal that stole the show was the dessert. The lamb was cooked to perfection and it was one of the best lamb I have ever eaten. I preferred the lamb because I am sucker for lamb. Everything sounded incredible but my friend and I decided to eat the lamb and the sirloin. Now it was the hardest decision to pick something from the grill menu. All of this is complementary and the only thing you pay for is the food from the grill and if you want any alcoholic beverages. I loved the hummus, the Israeli pickles, and the Brussel sprouts. So if you have a gluten allergy this is the place for you! Instead of the pita, they gave me vegetables to use while I tried all the salatim. All of their food is gluten free except for the pita. You get to see the staff make all the delicious food and it makes it harder to wait for the food because you want it. I ate at the chef's counter and it was the best experience. You will either eat at the chef's counter or at a table. For starters it's a cute tiny place that makes you feel at home. I have been trying so hard to get into Laser Wolf and once I saw an opening I couldn't pass it up. I highly recommend coming to check out Laser Wolf, Michael Solomonov did more than amazing with this one!! I'd come back to Philly specifically for this restaurant! A few of my favorites were the pickles, broccoli tabbouleh, brussel sprouts, tomato dip, and a sweet potato dip! Pita and hummus also come with the Salatim and the pita is soft, fluffy, and delicious! We tried three of the meats and the 4th grill item we got was shwarma spiced cauliflower (not pictured) but soooo delicious! We were incredibly full at the end, but luckily got to refill some of the Salatim items we loved and pack it to go. The food was incredible! Every item on the Salatim was delicious. However, you can always make the Salatim your meal itself and they will charge you $21 (absolutely worth it). First tip make reservations a good amount of time in advance, this place books super fast! We arrived and I absolutely loved the atmosphere! It's very relaxed, great music in the background, and I loved that plants were in old Israeli pickle and pepper containers! Our server immediately brought us water and gave us a great run down of the menu! Another tip, prepare to be in a sharing mood at the restaurant! It's a great place to share and try so many good things! We learned that the Salatim would be free if everyone at the table ordered something from the grill part of the menu. I personally thought the tahini added a strange sour note to the soft serve and would've preferred to go without.Ībsolutely amazing! I came here for dinner on a Friday night. We finished the meal off with the brown sugar soft serve. I didn't think the ketchup was that special. The fries are steak-cut, with crispy outsides and a steamy, creamy inside. If you were to use it as a sandwich rather than a dipping vehicle, there's plenty of space inside to shove your favorite fillings. By the time the entrees were out, I was already full from the salatim! My favorites were the dates and tomato salsa, the cilantro (?) baba ghanuj, and the super creamy hummus. I ordered the whole dorade ($48), my partner had the tuna shishlik ($48), and we shared the fries. There wasn't anything celebratory done for it, but they did drop off an off-menu asparagus dish that they said they were considering adding to the menu. There are unlimited refills, though you have to ask for them the servers won't just do it unprompted. You choose any of the entrees on the menu and it comes with the Salatim, though if you're not feeling that hungry you can also get the Salatim on its own for $21. The servers wear tropical shirts and I love that. Laser Wolf a lot more laidback than Zahav or Suraya, but the quality of the food is at the same level.
